Supporting our contracts in the capital!
Thanks to our nationwide branch network, we are committed to delivering first class service to all our customers across the country and sometimes when visiting different sites, our drivers also get to do a bit of sight-seeing!
Over the last few weeks our driver Tim Lynch has been delivering products across London to a number of exciting new projects CCF is supporting across the city.
Tim was able to take in the stunning architecture found in Bloomsbury, West London when he delivered six pallets of British Gypsum plasterboard as part of the refurbishment of Victoria House. This historic Grade II listed building is currently being converted into a life-sciences hub.
Then it was onto Lambeth Palace – the official residence of the Archbishop of Canterbury. Here Tim delivered more drywall products from our CCF East London branch and successfully manoeuvred the moffett forklift carrying the boards and metal stud section through the stunning Tudor archways! The long-term refurbishment of Lambeth Palace is helping to improve the energy-efficiency of the iconic Grade I listed building.
Tim’s tour of London landmarks continued with a stop at Grosvenor Square where we supplied Gyproc SoundBloc acoustic plasterboard to help transform the former American Embassy building into a new luxury hotel. The building is easily recognisable thanks to the iconic golden eagle that is perched on the roof!
CCF is also supplying products to support the refurbishment of London based football club Leyton Orient’s Gaughan Group Stadium. Here Tim delivered Gyproc wallboard which will be used as part of the work that is underway on the stadium’s East Stand concourse.
With all orders delivered on time and in full, it’s certainly been a busy few weeks and we can’t wait to see how these projects progress! Follow CCF on LinkedIn for more updates from across our branch network.
