As we step into spring, we're taking a moment to reflect on some of the key highlights from the first few months of the year. From exciting new appointments to celebrating store milestones, here's what’s been happening at CCF so far in 2025.
Welcoming Mike Davies to the CCF team
We’re thrilled to welcome Mike Davies as our new Commercial Trading Director. Mike brings a wealth of experience in the construction and building materials sector, and his leadership will be instrumental in shaping our product offering to better support our customers. His focus will be on strengthening our partnerships with suppliers and ensuring we continue to deliver the high-quality solutions our customers rely on. Welcome to the team, Mike!
CCF Norwich celebrates its first anniversary
Time flies when you’re helping to build great projects! This quarter marks the one year anniversary of the opening of our CCF Norwich branch. Over the past 12 months, the team has worked hard to provide local customers with specialist support, reliable stock availability, and a service that makes a real difference on site. We’re delighted that this has led to a number of ‘five star’ reviews from our customers about how helpful the team at Norwich have been and how competitively priced our products are.

Backing the BMF’s career campaign
At CCF, we’re passionate about investing in the future of the industry, which is why we’re proud to be involved in the Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) ‘Building Materials Career’ campaign. This initiative highlights the importance of training, apprenticeships, and career development within the building materials sector. By supporting this campaign with our own company page, we’re reinforcing our commitment to helping people build long-term careers with us and in turn, strengthen the expertise available to our customers.
Supporting the 2025 FIS Awards
We are proud to be the official sponsor of the Drylining Commercial category at the 2025 FIS Contractor Awards. As one of the most important dates in the interior finishes sector’s calendar, the award scheme aims to recognise and celebrate the great work undertaken by specialist contractors and installers across the UK, many of whom are our valued customers.
The winners of the awards will be announced at a special luncheon on Thursday 5th June – good luck to all those in the running!
Committed to driving positive change
Back in November 2024, we passed the Code for Construction Product Information (CCPI) Assessment for Merchants and Distributors. Since then, we have been working behind the scenes to uphold these standards and continuously build our competency to provide clear and accurate product information. We’ve also been helping our customers understand what this means to them and you can read more about it in our recent blog post. We’re keen to continue to support the work of the Code for Construction Product Information, and give our customers the confidence they need, and our team is always on hand to help.
